Jill Sigelbaum
Head of FXall
Jill joined Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters) in February 2018 with over 25 years of experience in the financial technology industry, innovating the foreign exchange and derivatives markets. As an executive across five start-up firms, Jill is an expert in leading sales growth, business development and product strategy from formation through acquisition. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Jill was the head of Foreign Exchange at Traiana, a market leader in credit risk and post-trade processing. Jill is a trusted advisor to the Foreign Exchange community and is a member of the FXPA (Foreign Exchange Professional Association) and sits on the FX committee of the Central Bank of Canada. Jill is also a co-founder of the Women in FX group.
Lauren Bopf
Senior Transactions Relationship Manager FXall
Lauren Bopf is a Senior Relationship Manager for FXall within the Capital Markets Group of the London Stock Exchange. Lauren has worked on the FXall product for over 13 years covering both buy and sell side clients helping them to better utilize the functionality within FXall. Previous to FXall, she was an FX salesperson at Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan where she worked with multinational corporations and asset managers to hedge their FX exposure. Lauren holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
John Rothstein
CEO, Optiver
John is the recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Optiver UK Ltd, a proprietary trading firm and market maker on major global exchanges. The London based office is focused on foreign exchange trading and a growing hub for the firm’s commodity trading business. Prior to this John was the Chief Operating Officer of Optiver US LLC, overseeing all aspects of business operations within the Chicago based office which employs 220 people. John Rothstein joined Optiver in 2007 as a derivatives trader. He later led the global effort to build out the trader education program and improve the firms recruiting strategy in Amsterdam, Sydney & Chicago. In late 2016, John assumed responsibility for setting up the US OTC trading operation. He was named COO of Optiver US in 2017, partner in 2018 and CEO of Optiver UK in 2020. John holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a post-graduate degree from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Adam Wheatley
Senior Transactions Sales, FXall
A seasoned FX sales person with 14 years FX markets sales experience, Adam is currently part of the FX Transactions sales team covering buyside sales of our FXall and Matching FX venues. Adam possesses a specific area of expertise in FX Options. Previous roles with the company have seen Adam lead the initial build out of FXall’s FX options go-to-market in 2012 /13 across EMEA, as well as electronic brokering of FX Options on the company’s former RMFXO electronic interdealer offering. Adam commutes into the London office from Hertfordshire, where he lives with his wife and 3 primary school-aged boys.
